I agree with both of the people who answered. War is a nasty business but sorry to say it is never going away....at least as long as mankind inhabits this planet. To define war in civilized terms is to do battle according to a set outline of rules such as the Geneva Convention. Basically it means that military forces of the warring nations will not commit atrocities against mankind such as wanted killing of people (i.e. murder of civilians/prisoners/women/children), to not torture prisoners or non-combatants to gain military information, to ist and help the oppressed peoples in things as medical aid, food, etc. Basically the basic needs of life. Not to commit (our rules) to commit any felonious crimes against the opposing armed forces or their citizens ( , molestation, murder,ault, etc.) once you have captured anyone or occupy their territory. Uncivilized war: wanton killing and destruction of civilians, their homes ,or cities, brain-washing, torture, biological and chemical warfare, no medical aid, harsh treatment (usually resulting in death of the prisoners through forced labor, almost non-exsistant medical aid, food, sanitation, beatings, etc.) , murder, well, you name it. I been to war but more important I've been to and in combat that war causes. I've learned that unintentional killing of civilians happens (when a round leaves the end of the barrel of a weapon and someone its not meant for gets in its way...to bad.) I've also learned that a lot of non-combatants are most often spying and ping information on to the enemy. If caught red-handed in the act, I had no problem being judge, jury, and executioner. I have seen up real close what the enemy can do to people who are both non-combatants or combatants and believe me it is very hard to control ones actions when that happens. I really hate to inform you that most Americans who have never been in combat don't know that that don't know. What amazes me is that the prevalent attitude of a lot of people is that they can't believe what goes on during a war. Christ! I was sent to kill the guy who was trying to kill me. I mean it wasn't a hell-o, shake his hand, experiance and after hopefully killing him once...I would walk up to him and kill him again. That way, I knew that I could walk away from that area with my back facing him. You revert back to your basic survival instincts and training to stay alive. Why does my skin always do this when I get bit?

Every time I get a mosquito or other bug bite, it turns purple. It usually happens the day after I get said bite. I didn't get any weird or lengthy, complicated instructions before I had to take the three hour GTT. I just had to fast for 8 hours and that was it. I believe you are fine though! I dont see the point in going on a special dietfor days beforehnd because it would mess withthe way your body handles glucose on a regular basis, but every doctor has different reasonings for it I guess. My suggestion is to bring plenty of entertainment and a snack for afterwards. They say it's only three hours, but for me it ended up taking over five hours!

Ok there is this really cutte guy I like. He's a junior, a varsity football player. I'm a lame sophmore. We have like no cles together so I can't make conversation with him using that excuse. Easiest way to lose friends?

Well, I have this friend. Let's say her name is Shelly. We were good friends in elementary school but now, she acts like she gets really annoyed with me. Shelly has a ditzy personality where she always acts dumb and over laughs. She always wants to hang out like a big group but whenever we do, if I try to get her attention, she holds her hand literally an inch away from my face and says "she's busy". Whenever she wants to get my attention to borrow something, though, she would snap in front of my face. Not only do I find this rude, but I think its gross because her hands are not very clean. During cl, she would talk to her boyfriend when the teacher is speaking and text during cl. Last week, I went to her church camp with her and while waiting to perform a skit, I asked another friend if I should say a line or not. Then, Shelly rolled her eyes and shhhhh'ed me and acted really interested in the skit before us. The, a minute later, Shelly started talking to another girl about Shelly's hair. This makes me fell like a little kid, to be shushed like that. And that wasn't the first time either. Shelly takes at least 3 pictures a week of herself which she posts on Myspace and has 100+ pics of her. Lastly, she always makes fun of my clothes, the music I listen to, and my race. Could signal degredation cause intermittant problems?

I have a USB webcam that is connected to a computer with two USB extensions (plus the wire coming off of the webcam). The total distance is over the 5 meter max for USB 2.0. Why are my emails being sent as spam?

When using my yahoo email, I noticed I wasn't getting any responses to my emails. I emailed another yahoo email account I have and it showed up in spam folder. So I have cooked a few things before, tacos, spaghetti, rice krispie treats, pancakes, hamburger helper haha. However I haven't really learned to cook, I either read instructions or had my mom or grandma guide me. My fiance says I'm a good cook when I made him supper a few times but I would like to be able to cook some more, especially when I visit him this summer because he is in the army and I think it would be a nice treat for him as compared to an mre or food from the d-fac. Anyways I really could use some advice. I mean can anyone be a cook like the chef on ratatouille says? lol I just wonder if I follow online recipes and cook books if I will be ok, I still am kinda unaware of how to work the oven at home (so many ons! lol I prefer old ovens) and also I don't really know how long to cook things for and how to know if they are ready. Also any other advice about things like cleaning tips would be great, I try to read stuff online to get prepared. I've basically never had to do any cooking or cleaning around the house except for cleaning rooms, occasionally bathrooms, washing windows, and doing laundry and dishes, but I still could use some tips. I want to be able to prove to my fiance that I can handle our home when he is away. I suppose I also have to handle financial manners too? my dream-I was walking down all these corridors in a hospita(they looked almost like the ones where I work but they were neverending)l but couldn't seem to get to where I wanted to be.then all of a sudden,I suddenly appeared in a big deep muddy pit that had lots of rubbish in it.while I was searching through the pit,I came across a cardboard box full of murky rubbish that I had the urge to search through. I need help getting over this feeling of unreality?

About 2 1/2 weeks ago I had a small panic attack that cause me to have the feeling of unreality or I guess "derealization". I have had this before and it went away after taking the medicine Peroxotine. Not sure if it was actually the meds that made it go away or just me thinking it was going to take it away that made it just gradually go away. But anyway, I have had this for a while now and I just started freaking myself out about if its ever going to go away. I know This isn't dangerous to the mind or anything like that. Its just the side affects of anxiety but the thing is, is that I don't feel like I have anymore anxiety its just the thoughts that are scaring me. The feeling. I recently started taking the Peroxotine again but stopped taking it a few days ago cause it felt like it was making it worse. They told me that it may take a few weeks to kick in but I guess I scared myself out of it. I can still function in everyday things like driving and being aware of normal things. But its just that feeling of unreality that pops into my head all day long everyday. From the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep. It almost seems like my memory is in a fog, I try to backtrack what I did in the days but most of the time they seem unreal because of the way I'm feeling. I am going to make another appointment with my original doctor in a few weeks (hopefully this is gone by then) to talk to him. I have read a lot of posotive stories out there from people who have had this. I know its a normal thing and I know it was anxiety that caused it. I just need help getting rid of it. So we had a track meet this morning and I ran the Sprint Medley Relay. The sequence was 100m, 100m, 200m, and then the 400m which I ran. I don't exactly know what my time was but it was probably around 1:10-1:15. When I was running I caught up to the first place runner at the 100m mark and kept neck & neck with her until the 300 and then she started sprinting and I kind of died out slowly. I felt pretty bad about not keeping up with her till the end and I run the 400m individual race usually. Anyways do you guys have any suggestions on helping endurance/stamina and my 400m time? So my computer keeps running at 100% CPU usage. I'm lucky enough for this to load it's so slow. So I check the task manager. The main reason are two things. First was Firefox. I got the fasterfox add-on but after realizing that was the issue, I uninstalled it. So now the issue is avp.exe. From what I've read, it's a Kaspersky program. Now I haven't used Kaspersky for a year now and it should be renewed and updated but I don't plan on renewing it. The reason why I keep it on my computer is that it's the only online security I have. I have MBAM free version but I don't think that does internet protection.

My hair is never shiny or very soft, how can I get it that way?

So my hair used to be halfway down my back until I cut it just past my shoulders because of split ends (There are still some, I have blow dried my hair a few times but have stopped now) and my hair is rather wavy, more at the front that back, it's more flat there and also my hair is a medium brown colour (naturally it's a bit lighter, my hair darkened while growing up). But the problem is, is that my hair has never been shiny or soft. It's got like layers in it and after the hairdresser straightened it, it was very soft but as soon as I was outside it felt rough and a little bit brittle. My fringe gets greasy often so I get shampoo from Lush to sort of help that out but no matter what shampoo and conditioner I use my hair is never shiny or silky smooth, is it because I don't blow dry it or straighten it? I don't want to damage my hair all I want is soft and shiny hair. I wash my hair now in lukewarm water and for the first time yesterday I washed it with lukewarm water then rinsed over in cold ( I tipped my head back and kept it in one place, it was way too cold to move anywhere else) and nothing really happened, I mean like the top of the back of my head feels kind of smooth but not everywhere else of my hair looks shiny nor smooth. I tried attaching an alligator's leg to mine. It didn't work...?

I recently got advice on here about how to perform this surgery and it didn't work out how I thought it would. After sawing off my leg (a bit above the ankle) with the help of a friend, I tried to attach the nerve endings and sew the frozen (well then thawed) alligator leg onto it. It was extremely painfully, like the most pain I have ever felt before, but after a little while I got used to it. After sewing it on successfully, I paper mached the entire thing and basically spent the next two weeks just sitting around in pain. After 16 days, I removed the paper mache to find my leg and the alligator leg all discolored and strange looking. I couldn't move the alligator leg at all. I was the most disappointed I have ever been in my entire life that it didn't work out right. Is there any hope for me, my leg, the alligator leg (very expensive) or this entire thing to still end up working out? Also, I am still deciding on whether or not to get my friend to drive me to the hospital. PLEASE HELP!!!

When you see lots of variety of dogs in a pet shop like that, that usually means they have connections to get these dogs, and can get them again once they sell what they have. sorry i can;t answer re the bursary but did want to point out that CRB checks can take longer than 6 weeks - i was luck mine only took 4 wks but a colleague of mine waited 4 month! Some movie places might. and depends on whose working the ticket booth. If you go in to get the tickets by yourself im sure he'll give them all to you. and ask for your id. But if you all went in together he still might just want your id as your the one picking them up and he figures if your of age to see R rated movies at the movies your friends must be too. The best choice is to go like an hour before the movie starts and pick up the tickets yourself. Then give them out to your friends right before the movie begins or whatever. It sounds like you're under a lot of stress. When you're overloaded by anxiety, you slow down and stop processing things fast enough. What Track and Field Event Should I Do?

I'm a freshman and I joined the track and field team this year. We had to seperate into groups at conditioning depending on events and my friends and I just went with the throwers since we were undecided. I tried javelin but I didn't like it at all. I am a Marlins fan. I watched the game. Ramirez has done this before. Man, it really kind of makes me sick to see a guy who makes so much money basically walk after a baseball while runners are crossing the plate. It's like Ramirez doesn't even know how lucky he is to be in the major leagues making millions of dollars. Last year, Dan Uggla got on him in the dugout after a similar issue. I think it had to do with an injury that Ramirez was not playing through. They almost came to blows. It was about one day after Ramirez was rewarded millions more (I think he negotiated a new contract with the Marlins). Uggla was like, "Hey he got his millions so now he doesn't give a crap." And Uggla was right. Ramirez has an attitude problem. I kind of with someone would slap him around a bit. His type of attitude is what is keeping the Marlins from going to the next level and making the playoffs. He can do better and he knows it. Same thing goes for some of their pitchers. I read the California hands free cell phone law. What a joke. You can still text message as long as you are over 18. ok .I have completed the 20 kills challenge and destroy a sentry gun challenge.But I can't seem to complete the destroy 30 aircraft challenge.I have equipped the ghost perk and an m72 law launcher.Then in the game when I see a spy plane or anything else,I destroy it successfully.So far I have destroyed over 30 spy planes but when I go to the ghost perk challenges, It says destroyed 5 out of 30 aircraft. I get frustrated trying to destroy them for nothing! Please answer.I really wanna know why this happens.thanks

Question about shotgun recoil reduction systems:?

I have a Benelli, Nova H2O that kicks something fierce. There is a recoil reducer for it. It is a 14oz mercury filled system that goes in the stock. What I want to know is how do these work? Does it just add more weight or does the fluid actually do something to help? i have a palm tree in my backyard. it has orange seeds on them, they have an orange husk on them but when it falls off the tree, it eventually turns brown and drys out. i peeled off the husk and discovered what appears to be miniture coconut inside. so i cracked it open and it has a small amount of white flesh that looks and smells like coconut. the seed with its husk on is about 1 inch- 1.5 inches long. my dog eats them too. what kind of palm tree is this? are they edible?

Hello...My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year...We conceived the first month but miscarried at 5 weeks in January. We then conceived again after 3 months but miscarried again at 7 weeks in September. My doctor has scheduled me for an HSG X-Ray and I was wondering if anyone had had one? I know that they are looking to see if my tubes are clear and open but i just wanted to hear from someone who has been in my situation... Also my doctor is going to supplement my third pregnancy with fertility drugs and i was wondering what my chances are of conceiving the first month on them? Has anyone had great luck with clomid?
