I am reading "The Pulley" by George Herbert. I have been reading this poem for a while now. Please Help!!!!!?

I understand the general gist of the poem. God creates man and give him beauty, wisdom, honor, and pleasure but then left out one "jewel". He did this because he didn't want to have mankind adore the gifts rather than him. I get all that. But what i don't get is how this all connects to a "pulley". I need to write a paper on how this poem uses 5 metaphysical characteristics of poetry. Please, Please, Please help me!!
