How do I play games on my desktop PC wirelessly via my laptop?

There are ways to remote control one computer from another; however, the picture "refreshes" itself much more slowly via remote control. With a fast connection, this isn't noticeable for normal tasks, like using Word or whatever, but it is slow enough that it would make most games unplayable.
