Could Christians clarify something for me...?

I always heard that Jesus died for our sins and that because he died there's no more sin in the world, so does that me we can do whatever we want and it won't be a sin? Why do people still go to confession and stuff if they can't sin because jesus absolved all of us when he died? I don't get it.
