Sorry, but short haired cats will shed also. The key is to feed them a healthy food like Wellness, and not junk like Science Diet or even worse, grocery store foods. My cat stopped shedding when she started eating healthy. Cats have different personalities, go find one that is loveable of any breed. The pound has awesome and very loveable cats.
